The Project

LIFE CLOOVER2 will be developed by a consortium that brings together 7 partners from Spain. All the project partners are fully committed to the project and have complementary roles and expertise needed to reach project goals.

Most important, LIFE CLOOVER2 consortium includes actors along the entire project value chain from producer to end-user for both closed-loops, with

  1. a manufacturer of crates (PALEC),
  2. a drums and jerry cans producer (REYDE);
  3. a packer for crates (AMAFRUVA),
  4. a packer for drums and jerry cans (AGROFRESH),
  5. recycler for both crates and drums/jerry cans (SINTAC-R / SINTAC-P&C),
  6. a non-profit association (CAPEC) made up of companies in the value chain linked to the use of fruit and vegetable plastic crates, which aims to provide 100% recycled plastic crates.

Technical capabilities and expertise of project partners ensure the LIFE-CLOOVER2 project’s solid development. End-of-life, reuse, recycling, circularity, energy efficiency, sustainability, recyclability and life cycle considerations are also at the core of the project by means of partners and outsourced entities. Project composition is optimally balanced to enhance project results exploitation and commercialization, thus ensuring project sustainability, extrapolation and replication of results.

Relevant project stakeholders will be actively involved as part of the project EAB or throughout specific communication & dissemination.
